Deborah Duffey agreed to oversee the public company Fountain Pharmaceuticals for Karalyn Schuchert in 2001, and the company was taken private and re-launched as Dermazone Solutions, a life science company with a dermatological focus.

The Celazome Clinical Skin Care division, which provided Celazome anti-aging and moisturizing products to consumers through doctors, clinicians, and skin care experts, was also launched.

  The company originally focused solely on business-to-business distribution channels, but Duffey realized the need to diversify the company’s portfolio, expand into other distribution channels and explore other opportunities to leverage the formulas and technology.
Dermazone added a business-to-consumer distribution with a wholly-owned subsidiary called Kara Vita. Its sales are driven by a network of roughly 1,500 consultants who host product events, often in their own homes, featuring Kara Vita products.

Dermazone integrated its advanced research, development and manufacturing abilities in 2006 by relocating its operations from Orlando and Clearwater, Fla. to its current 33,000-square-foot facility in St. Petersburg, Fla. This move gave Dermazone the ability to control every aspect of the business from mission to market, and quickly move research findings into development.

Dermazone filed US App. No. 60/755,171 for the next generation nanotechnology, trademark NLP technology.

Dermazone launched a new contract manufacturing division, dermaCM, that allows Dermazone to offer turnkey services, research, development, manufacturing and delivery for private-label clients.
Dermazone obtained its pharmaceutical license to manufacture prescription drugs.
Dermazone began selling its Celazome products directly to consumers online while continuing to maintain its business-to-business sales relationships.
Dermazone’s products became available in Canada through Dermazone Solutions Canada. Dermazone launched in July its new brand and first oral nutraceutical product, an herbal supplement Hyssop Health™ Therapy, a liquid mist that is amazingly effective against conditions associated with sore throats, colds, flu, earaches, athlete's foot and dermatitis. In September, Dermazone expanded pharmacuetical manufacturing to include oral products.

Vet-Plex brand launched a Post-Partum  Lavage for reproductive health in beef and dairy cows launched.  VetPlex Patent pending.

Exclusive distribution agreement with USMI for GSA (General Services Administration) opportunities specifically for Nanocare for Skin products.
Patent application filed for encapsulation of alcohol .
Two new cosmeceutical formulas and one new OTC formula launched for our Kara Vita and Celazome brands.

Internationally, Dermazone markets its products outside the U.S. directly or through exclusive distributors.

Currently, Celazome products are available in Brazil, New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong, Macau, Portugal, Malaysia, Canada, Singapore, and Italy.
